Do you feel financially stressed?? That can happe Do you feel financially stressed?? That can happen whether you make enough or you barely get by… Because we are always either told we need more to be validated or our money story as we were growing up was learnt by our parents who taught us what money means and what security should/shouldn’t feel like. This impacts our relationships, our mental health, and our overall well-being…our ability to live joyfully. It can keep you trapped in a job you don’t love or being stuck around people that aren’t empowering you to live your most authentic life & follow your wildest dreams…money and emotions are often intertwined. Personally… Becoming an entrepreneur was my way to achieve freedom — both financial and emotional. I figured out that the more I was able to financially support my own decisions, the less I felt I had to ask for permission or seek approval from others but here’s the catch… I had to completely change the way I viewed financial security from how my parents and ancestors did…I was now responsible to redefining what “wealth” means to me (especially being an Egyptian woman & coming from a culture where this is not the norm) Something major I learned about all of this is emotional freedom happens when you are doing work that has purpose and creates impact while also being able to live life on your own terms not feeling like you are selling your soul for money just to get by… This is why I set up my business in a way where I can get both financial and emotional freedom so I can continue to travel as much as I want…it's been over 2 years of globetrotting while creating impact by helping freedom-obsessed people like you make their dreams come true through my coaching programs. And the more you hide who you are in your personal brand and content, the less you actually want to show up! You start to feel like an imposter…a people pleaser I know because I did that too. So I went on an unfollowing spree… Every now an So I went on an unfollowing spree… Every now and again when I slightly shift my messaging, content & audience due to my personal and professional growth, I like to go through and “clear out space” While doing this was great for allowing me to see more of the accounts that mattered to me in terms of biz on my feed- like my past clients & people who inspire me It also made me realize how most of us have become reliant on what people post on their stories as a way to check in on friends. “Oh yeah she seems like she’s doing fine” You have no idea how many breakdowns I had in the past 3 months that I will not talk about on my stories, yet I get DMs from friends saying “you look like you are having fun” [yes you can consider this a call out 🤪] I want you to know that as business owner you CAN HAVE boundaries in your personal brand content. Yes def share the vulnerable share within the parameters of what you feel comfortable with and aligns with your brand but you don’t need to put it all out there to prove your authenticity, especially if you are still processing it!
